The other thing to note is that the Turbo GT is a Coupe-only model, whereas the Turbo Electric is available in either the conventional Cayenne body style or as a Coupe. A key difference between the two is that gasoline-powered Cayenne models offer higher top speeds, while Cayenne Electric models come with more power and quicker acceleration. The electric models also come with a higher MSRP, but it’s important to remember that the cost of charging one of these models is only about 20 to 25 percent of the cost of fueling up a gas-powered Cayenne. The Cayenne Electric is the first Porsche with a standard NACS (North American Charging Standard) charging port—unlocking access to the Tesla Supercharger network. You’ll find the NACS DC-only fast charging port on the driver-side rear fender, while the standard CCS (Combined Charging System) J1772 AC-only port resides on the passenger-side rear fender.
